My favorite christmas memory is last year when my aunt and uncle bought a giant airplane teeter totter for the kids and kept it in the living room, because David and I got inside of it and got yelled at because we were "Too big" and were going to break it! Then we decided to make it in to a giant sled:)

There are many people in the world that have great talents, but choose not to use them because they are afraid to put themselves out there. So this means get out there and find something you are good at and that you love doing, or use a talent that you already possess before you change your mind in doing what you love, and can do.

I am thankful for many things, but the most important to me, of course, is my family. I have been through many tough times in my life and the people you can always count on are the ones in your family. I am the most thankful for David. He taught me many things in my life from the time I was born, to the time of his death. He taught me what it is like to have a brother, how to love and appreciate the ones you have that care about and love you, how to care about people, how to have a good time, and how to love. He inspired me to be a nurse because of his kind compassionate ways, and his love for others. I love him very much and am thankful I had him as a part of my life, and the impact he had on my life.

      Everyone would sit around and be too scared to do anything because they are afraid of failure. There is going to be failure in everyones life, multiple times, but that should just be encouragement to try harder, instead of discouragement.

An artist needs to keep their work for themselves because they are the ones that made it, and other people may take credit for their work. Another way this could be analyzed, is, sometimes artist create things that people should not have because it is something that they do not understand, or don't get the full meaning of, when artists know the deep meaning of their creation and other people may take it in a way that it was not meant to be taken.

When an artist does their work, they are never fully satisfied because they always want it to look amazing. people that observe thier work that are not artists, always think it looks amazing, but to them, their view of an amazing piece of work is completely different from that of others because they always want to improve their work.

          I agree with this quote, because when someone looks at something for too long, they beging to nit-pick, and they notice the smallest things that can change the whole way they look at it. This is a very good quote, because saying and representing something is completely different than actually carrying out the action. If an artist says he is going to do something, that doesn't necessarily mean that he will follow through with what he was originally representing, or, thinking about doing.                I understand what he is trying to communicate with the public and other artists when I read this quote. No artist does his work just to impress people, they do it for their passion of art, and use it as a way to individualize themselves from others. Today, we see paintings that are very fun to look at, colorful, bright, the whole ten yards, but there is something missing. Yes, these paintings are pretty and exciting to look at, but not all artwork needs to be a 'sight for sore eyes.' There are painings and other types of artwork out there that are black and white, and some even have some historical meaning to them. These pieces are bland and sometimes dull in color, but not every piece of artwork needs to be bright and interesting to be a wonderful piece of work.

          I strongly agree with this statement. All artists put into their paintings and other works of art, things that they either relate to, or what individualizes them from others. Artists don't want to paint and construct things that they have no interest in, and/or no knowledge about. Everyone has their different personalities and things that interest them, so therefore, every artists pieces of work, reflects their personality, knowledge, beliefes, and creativity, which shows who that particular artist is as an individual.

"An artist never really finishes his work, he merely abandons it." I agree with this quote. If the artist doesn't abandon it then he will work on that piece of art until he feels as if it is perfect. They will never be satisfied and will always want to perfect their pieces of art, so therefore if he doesn't abandon it, then the artist will never produce large amounts of artwork that they would have wanted to.
